Closed financial training and workshops for management teams, boards and finance functions — built around the firm's actual numbers, not a generic curriculum.

Generic financial training rarely changes how a leadership team reads the business. We design closed-door workshops and short programmes around the client's own financial statements, so that the language of the numbers becomes shared property rather than the CFO's private vocabulary.

When clients come to us

After a board reshuffle that has put non-financial directors in the room. When operating leaders are being given P&L responsibility for the first time. When a finance team needs to lift its commercial fluency before a transaction or audit cycle. Often when a CEO wants the leadership group to challenge the numbers more rigorously without making it personal.

How we work

A senior partner scopes the curriculum with the sponsor — usually the CFO or CEO — using the firm's own statements, board pack and operating model as the teaching material. Sessions are small, closed and Socratic. We avoid slide-led delivery and we avoid generic case studies. Every workshop ends with a short artefact the team can take back into the business.

Typical engagement

A programme typically runs across four to six sessions over six to ten weeks. On our side, a senior partner facilitates with a supporting advisor. On the client side, the sponsor is the CFO, CEO or chair of audit. Cohorts are usually six to twelve participants, by invitation only.

Why CGLA

The advisor who designs the programme is the one in the room. We do not licence content to trainers. We work in English, Turkish or Estonian, and we shape the level — board, executive, finance team — to the audience rather than running a single off-the-shelf module.
